My Christian Testimony

Day three... My Christian testimony for you.

When I lived in Central Florida attending Middle and High school, I would visit my sister and her family in south Florida on school breaks... just about every morning my sister would strongly encourage me to get up at dawn, get dressed and we'd head for the beach for sun rise. After returning back to her house, she would read me passages out of the bible. I would sit and listen but I never understood. At times I'd say: "stop reading it, I don't understand and I don't want to listen". My sister kept reading passages from the bible and I kept tuning her out.

Several years later, while living in the North East, my sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she had a reaccurance and several months later, she passed away. I went to visit my sister in the hospital the week before she died and the last hug she ever gave me the spirit of Jesus Christ passed from her into me.

I moved home from the North East several weeks after my sister's deather and I gave my life to Jesus Christ on November 17th of that year. I had been visiting another sister for the weekend who had already given her life to Jesus Christ. That Sunday morning we were in a deep discussion about Jesus Christ right before church began. I had never met my sister's pastor before and lo and behold if he didn't preach almost verbatum on the exact same conversation my sister and I had just been discussing thirty minutes prior. The Holy spirit grabbed me up and made me speechless!! Praise be to GOD ON HIGH!! Amen!! I will never forget that day as long as I live and I've never looked back at my old self since.
